Hasbro opened up a online vote to include certain cities in its new edition of World monopoly. At the beginning All the cities in the world had their country next to them, all but one Jerusalem. Hasbro explained that since Jerusalem is under a political dispute it did not include Israel as the country connected to Jerusalem. The foreign ministry of Israel was all up in arms and filed a complaint against the company, which resulted in Hasbro moving all countries listings next to the cities. Now I ask my self a simple question, what should a Toy Company think when it sees that as the voting for the cities is going online, the state of Israel and their leader Ehud Olmert is discussing with its enemies on how and which parts of Jerusalem to give back, If the government of Israel does not know if Jerusalem is hers or not why should a toy company know any better !
