Rabbi Oriel Einhorn, age 35, an Israeli native who has spent more than six years living and working abroad, serving as a teacher, communal Rabbi and school administrator.

A former Israeli Defense Forces paratrooper, Rabbi Einhorn earned his rabbinic ordination from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel while studying in the Har Etzion Yeshiva, near Jerusalem. He has devoted the last 12 years of his life to conducting outreach programs for youth and adults in Israel, the former Soviet Union, Hong Kong and South Africa.

Currently residing in Israel after concluding his position as the head of Yeshiva of Cape Town, which is involved extensively in outreach, Rabbi Einhorn spent the previous three years as a communal rabbi at Ohel Leah Synagogue in Hong Kong, which is the Jewish center of East Asia. He has served as the spiritual leader for more than 500 families since 1999 and has run a wide range of classes, programming and outreach programs for adults and youth, including extensive outreach to Israeli expatriates living abroad.
