Its snake season here in Israel and everybody is frantic about snakes. This year is worst for some reason, anyhow here is a picture of the snake that came into our house after 5 minutes and parting from NIS 500 that went to the snake catcher, the snake was caught. It’s a common snake in Israel called Tzefa, poisonous an fast. Thank God we got him and no kids were home, my wife is still recovering from the trauma

Well it happens to be a mistake in identification, and the official snake catcher of the council called us and said we had nothing to worry about because the snake was not poisonous, he is called Zaaman Shahor or in english - Coluber jugularis

Well when you have a screaming wife and sister in law in the house
you really don’t have time to ask the snake what his official name is or if he is poisonous.
